2013 Virginia Outdoors Plan

State Planners from the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) are developing Virginia’s comprehensive plan for the acquisition, development and management of outdoor recreation and open space resources. Virginia has produced a Virginia Outdoors Plan about every five years since 1966; this will be the 10th edition. At 21 regional meetings across the state, DCR staff will inform citizens of the process of developing the 2013 Virginia Outdoors Plan and provide opportunity for citizen input on issues of interest. DCR is accepting written comments on the update of the 2013 Virginia Outdoors Plan at VOP Comments, DCR, 203 Governor Street, Suite 326, Richmond, Virginia 23219.
