Washington Lacy Park

2 1/2 miles of multi-use trail and a pump track. Watch out for horses.

Washington Lacy Park is a new addition to the Hanover County Parks System. Opened in late 2008, this park contains the region's only pump track.  The multi-use trails trails were built with the help of the Friends of Hanover Trials and receive frequent horse use. So remember the rules of the trail and always yield to horses. The trails are suitable for beginners as the are fairly wide and don't have significant elevation change. The pump track is located in the far eastern portion of the park an requires taking the gravel road of the trails to get to it.  See the GPSTrailSource Map.

Development of an additional 5+ miles of single track in the southern portion of the park is scheduled to begin shortly.

Directions: Take I-95 North to the Ashland Exit 92. Take Rt 54 East for about 1/2 mile. Turn left on Woodside Lane. Go 1 mile to parking lot. Alternatively, from US 1 North, turn left on Jamestown Rd, the park lot will be on the left after about 1 mile.
